Today's review is about a Replica Omega Speedmaster Chronograph, which uses Asia Valjoux 7750 Automatic Movement and the retail price is somewhere around $295 at the market.
The case of this replica watch is actually the same as the moon watch, is built in stainless steel, measures 40 mm and 13.5mm at thickness. I always love the cuts of the case side, with mix of brushed and polished, it looks so smart.
I was also adored the fact that it has a fixed steel bezel that plated with tachymeter scale. The sapphire crystal, in domed nature feels thick and strong. Though it is scratch durable, I am still a little afraid that it will get scratch one day due to its domed shape.
The black dial looks fine. It features broad arrow hour hands that glows in the dark. It uses polished steel marker with lume dots to ensure legible. It has three subdials: chronograph minutes at 3:00, hours at 6:00 and the running seconds at 6:00. The date window is also at 6:00. Though the basic layout is the same with the moon watch, this dial looks a little crowd. Any way the steel marker and hands match the case well.
The bracelet is the same with the moon watch, linked by pins, fits the case well. And the clasp does not get scratch easily.
Asking me if I like this watch would be like asking Jeff Gordon (Michael Schumacher for our European friends) if he likes to drive fast cars! Heck, I have bought 3 of these watches (two for myself and the other one for my friend). It is pretty much a given that I like them.
